SZU hereby supplements its previously published information about its current services offered for the United Kingdom territory, which includes, inter alia, also elaboration of test reports according to requirements of the Clean Air Act 1993 Regulation, which is further approved by the government´s Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA). DEFRA, the governmental Office of the UK, supported by 34 agencies and public bodies responsible for protecting the environment and supporting British industry in the areas of food and agriculture, as well as that of sustainability of a thriving rural economy. Within this sphere falls, among other things (food, water), also the air that the UK residents breath. For all manufacturers of heat appliances, who seek to sell their products in the UK, is therefore crucial the granting of „statutory exception“, issued by DEFRA, allowing them to sell their products also within industrially polluted regions of the UK (so called „Control Smoke Areas“).
